What Is Calamvale Salvation Army?
Calamvale Salvation Army is a young and growing church in the southern
suburbs of Brisbane. Brisbane is the capital of the state of Queensland,
Australia.
Our aim is to introduce people to Jesus and help them grow in
faith and commitment to the Lord. Our worship services are contemporary
and informal, carefully planned with our unchurched visitors in mind. Music
is provided by a worship band. Family worship is at 10 am, followed by
morning tea.
Our beliefs are those held by The Salvation
Army and stated in their Doctrines.
Our members come from a broad range of occupations, including
teachers, nurses, computer wizzes, fork lift drivers, coach builders, graphic
artists, retail employees, tertiary lecturers, retirees, students, and
domestic engineers.
Our Officers (Ministers)
Captains Marcus and Patricia Vass are the officers (ministers) at Calamvale
Salvation Army.
Where we meet
We meet at our Worship Centre on the corner of Beaudesert Road and Kameruka Street,
Calamvale (UBD reference J8, page 53), at 10.00 am every Sunday morning.
